The first edition of The Garda Síochána Guide was published in 1934 and was followed by other editions in 1937, 1954, 1967, 1981 and 1991. It has now reached a seventh edition which will be published in April 2008. The Garda Síochána Guide is produced by Blackhall Publishing on behalf of the Government Supplies Agency who are acting on behalf of An Garda Síochána.
